Accessibility Statement
1. Our Commitment
Rckts Software Ltd is committed to ensuring that QuixMTD is accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, with an aspiration towards Level AAA where practicable.
WCAG 2.2 Level AAA
While Level AA is the widely accepted standard for web accessibility compliance, WCAG 2.2 Level AAA represents the highest level of conformance. We are working towards meeting AAA criteria across our service where feasible, including:
- Enhanced colour contrast ratios of at least 7:1 for normal text and 4.5:1 for large text
- Sign language interpretation for pre-recorded audio content where available
- Extended audio descriptions for video content
- No timing restrictions on user interactions wherever possible
- Providing multiple ways to locate content (e.g. search, site map, navigation)
- Clear and simple language throughout the service to aid comprehension
- Context-sensitive help and error prevention for user inputs
Full AAA conformance is not always achievable for all content types, but we treat it as a guiding standard and apply AAA success criteria wherever reasonably possible.
